The University of Regina's women's volleyball team suffered a three-set road loss to Brandon on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Brandon opened the match 25-22 in a set which saw a late Regina rally come up just short. The Cougars fell down 20-13 before replying with six of the next seven points to get to within two, but Brandon was able to get side outs on Regina's final four serves and finished it off with an Avery Burgar kill.
• The Bobcats scored the first six points of the second set and cruised to a 25-13 win, then clinched the match with a 25-17 win in the third.

NOTES

• Burgar finished as the match's leading hitter, finishing with 14 kills and hitting .357 for the Bobcats (1-14).
• Regina (0-15) was led offensively by Devyn Grimsrud, who had a team-leading 10 kills while hitting a match-high .471 for the Cougars.
• Cassadi Klapak finished with 22 assists and 9 digs for Regina.

The Cougars will get another chance against the Bobcats on Saturday night in Brandon. First serve is again set for 7:00 PM at the Healthy Living Centre on the BU campus.
