Rams announce 2026 schedule, ticket information

Training camp begins Friday, Aug. 14

The University of Regina Rams announced their 2026 season schedule on Wednesday morning, with their season set to kick off in Edmonton against the University of Alberta on Friday, Sept. 4. 

The Rams' quest for the Vanier Cup begins with training camp opening on Aug. 14. The preseason concludes with an exhibition game in Medicine Hat, Alta. against Calgary on Sunday, Aug. 23 before their full attention turns towards the Canada West schedule and the opener against the Golden Bears.

New this season, Rams season ticket holders will have their own entrance times for games taking place at Leibel Field, and a separate entrance gate for games at Mosaic Stadium. Their home opener is set for Friday, Sept. 11 as the Rams host the Manitoba Bisons in one of two games scheduled at Leibel Field in Regina.

The Rams will then head to Vancouver to take on the UBC Thunderbirds on Friday, Sept. 18, before returning home to host the Saskatchewan Huskies on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Mosaic Stadium. 

The Sept. 26 clash against Saskatchewan will be Youth Football Family Day with all Regina Minor Football teams wearing their jerseys to the game receiving free admission.

The Rams will be back on the road the following week, when they will take on the Calgary Dinos on Saturday, Oct. 3. 

After the bye week, the Rams will host the Alberta Golden Bears on Oct. 15 in a rare Thursday night clash at Mosaic Stadium and will remain at home the following week to host the UBC Thunderbirds on Friday, Oct 23. at Leibel Field in their final home game of the regular season. 

The Rams will wrap up Canada West play when they visit the Manitoba Bisons on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Canada West semifinal games will be played on the weekend of Nov. 7 with the two winners advancing to the 89th BioSteel Hardy Cup to be contested on Saturday, Nov. 14.  

The Canada West champion will advance to the Uteck Bowl to play the RSEQ champion on the road on Saturday, Nov. 21, with the winner of that game heading to Quebec City, Que. for the 61st Vanier Cup on Saturday, Nov. 28.
