UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2017: Dressed for five Canada West games ... started at wide receiver in the team's Week 2 game at Calgary (Sept. 8) ... had one reception for nine yards in that game against the Dinos.

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2016: Redshirt season ... had one catch for five yards in Week 1 at Saskatchewan, but was injured and missed the remainder of the year.

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2015: Played in all eight of the team’s Canada West games ... finished the season with 24 catches for 307 yards ... exploded for 13 catches and 203 receiving yards in Week 5 against Manitoba to earn Canada West Offensive Player of the Week honours ... with that performance, joined Chris Bauman, Neal Hughes, Addison Richards, Jordan Sisco, and Mitch Thompson as the only Rams to collect at least 200 receiving yards in a single CIS game ... total of 13 catches in that game is tied for second in U of R single-game history ... hauled in a 62-yard pass from Noah Picton against the Bisons, the team’s longest passing play of the season.

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2014: Dressed for all eight Canada West games as a backup receiver ... also dressed for the team's Canada West semifinal game at Calgary (Nov. 8) ... had three catches for 28 yards in the non-conference win over Alberta (Aug. 29).

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2013: Played in five Canada West games in his first season of CIS eligibility ... dressed for the first four games of the season and in Week 8 against Saskatchewan (Oct. 26) ... caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Noah Picton with 47 seconds left in the team's non-conference game against Manitoba (Aug. 23), giving the Rams a 30-25 victory.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Faculty of Business Administration ... attended Dr. Martin LeBoldus HS before coming to the U of R ... won a provincial championship with the Golden Suns in his Grade 12 year ... played for Team Saskatchewan at the 2011 Football Canada Cup in Lethbridge, Alta. ... father Dan Johnston also wore #26 for the Rams during their CJFL days in the 1980s.
