Enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science ... attended Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw before coming to the U of R ... was a standout in both football and track & field at Central ... provincial high school champion in the 100-metre dash, the 200-metre dash, and the 4x100-metre relay in 2017 ... also won a provincial gold medal in the 200 in 2016 ... wears the same No. 5 as his older brother Kahlen Branning, who was an all-star for the Rams as well as a seven-time medalist for the U of R's track & field team.
