UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2017: Won the starting job at sam linebacker and became the first Rams player to start a season opener directly out of high school since Jamir Walker in 2008 ... led the Rams and finished fifth in the conference with 46 tackles (33 solo, 26 assisted) ... also had three tackles for loss including a sack, a forced fumble, an interception, and two pass breakups in league play ... was named the Canada West Defensive Player of the Week following his first Canada West game, when he had a game-high eight tackles, a sack, and a pass breakup in the team's win over UBC (Sept. 1) ... also had seven tackles (six solo, two assisted) and a pass breakup in the Canada West semifinal at UBC (Nov. 4).

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies ... attended Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School before coming to the U of R ... was ranked by CanadaFootballChat.com as the top Grade 12 prospect in the province ... won 4A provincial titles with LeBoldus in all three of his seasons with the Golden Suns ... as a Grade 12 player, led the Schwann Conference with 41½ tackles in six league games while also recording four sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception ... has extensive experience with Football Canada's national teams ... competed for Team Canada's U18 team at the 2016 International Bowl, won gold with the U19 team at the 2016 IFAF World Championships in China, and also played with the U19 team at the 2017 North American Championship.
