UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2018: Missed the last three games of the season due to injury, snapping a streak of 40 consecutive games played including playoffs ... completed 115 of his 167 pass attempts for 1654 yards and six touchdowns ... completed 32 of 41 passes for 449 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another TD in the team's Week 2 game at Alberta ... longest completion of the season was a 65-yard toss to Bennett Stusek in Week 1 for the rookie's first career completion ... final pass of his career was a 35-yard touchdown to Kyle Borsa in overtime in Week 5 at Manitoba.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2017: Named a first-team All-Canadian and a Canada West all-star for the second consecutive season ... became the fourth player in Rams history with multiple first-team All-Canadian selections, joining Jon Ryan, Jamir Walker, and Brett Jones ... led Canada West in completion rate (68.8%), tied for the conference lead in touchdown passes (19), and was second in Canada West in passing yards (2491) ... surpassed Teale Orban for the University of Regina and Canada West all-time lead in passing yards ... joined Darryl Leason and Orban as the only players in school history with at least five touchdown passes in a single game after throwing for five majors in a Week 5 road win at Saskatchewan (Sept. 29) ... put up at least 300 passing yards in each of the team's first six games of the season, including a season-high 389 yards in the team's Week 6 double-overtime road win at Alberta (Oct. 14).
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2016: Completed one of the most spectacular seasons in Canadian university football history, setting a U SPORTS single-season record with 3186 passing yards while becoming the first Rams player ever to win the Hec Crighton Trophy ... also led the nation in both completion percentage (69.3) and touchdown passes (25) ... led Canada West and finished second in the nation with 224 completions ... besides passing yards, also set Canada West single-season records in completions and school single-season records in both pass attempts (323) and completion percentage ... three-time recipient of Canada West and U SPORTS Offensive Player of the Week honours ... was 29-for-41 and threw for 481 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing seven times for a career-high 108 yards in the team's Week 1 game at Saskatchewan ... set school single-game records in pass completions (40) and attempts (60) and recorded 499 yards and four touchdown passes in the Week 2 win against Manitoba ... was 23-for-35 and finished with 452 yards and four touchdown passes in the team's Week 4 win over a Calgary team that was ranked No. 2 in the nation at the time ... was 29-for-42 and had 370 passing yards and four touchdown passes against Saskatchewan in the first game at the new Mosaic Stadium ... threw four touchdown passes for the fifth time during the conference schedule in a Week 7 win over UBC ... eclipsed the 450-yard mark for the fourth time of the season in the team's Week 8 win at Manitoba ... was 25-for-35 for 364 yards and a touchdown in the Canada West semifinals against UBC.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2015: Started all eight conference games at quarterback ... completed 166 of his 252 pass attempts to finish second in Canada West with a 65.9% completion rate ... pass completion rate was (at the time) also the second highest in school single-season history ... finished the Canada West schedule with 2134 passing yards and 10 touchdown passes ... twice eclipsed the 400-yard mark in passing yards, including a season-high 456 in Week 5 at Manitoba (Oct. 2) ... also had 422 passing yards in the team’s Week 3 game at Saskatchewan (Sept. 18) ... rushed 33 times for a total of 137 yards, including a one-yard touchdown plunge in Week 1 against Alberta (Sept. 4) for the team’s first points of the season ... completed 26 of 33 passes in Week 8 against Saskatchewan (Oct. 30) to set a new school single-game record for completion percentage (78.8).
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2014: Split the quarterbacking duties with Cayman Shutter, ending up starting four of the team's eight Canada West games ... completed 123 of his 192 pass attempts for a 64.1% completion rate ... finished the conference schedule with 2029 passing yards to become the first Canada West rookie ever to throw for more than 2000, breaking the old rookie record of 1941 set by Calgary's Dalin Tollestrup in 2006 ... had 11 touchdown passes ... was named the Canada West and CIS Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for a season-high 467 yards in the team's Week 8 win over Alberta (Nov. 1), which was the fourth highest single-game total in the Rams' history at the CIS level at the time ... also went over 400 yards in Week 3 at Alberta (Sept. 20), completing 28 of 36 passes for 432 yards and three touchdowns ... also had three touchdown passes in the Week 7 win over Manitoba (Oct. 25), including a 104-yard strike to Mitch Thompson for the third longest passing play in U of R history ... finished the Canada West schedule with 22 rushes for a total of 143 yards, including a season-long 20-yard scramble for his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Week 8 win over Alberta ... completed 14 of 24 passes for 147 yards in the team's Canada West semifinal at Calgary (Nov. 8).
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2013: Redshirt season ... dressed for the team's Week 6 game against Alberta (Oct. 5) ... led the Rams to a come-from-behind 30-25 non-conference win over Manitoba (Aug. 23), completing all 12 of his pass attempts for 160 yards including a 31-yard touchdown pass to Davin Johnston with 47 seconds left.
PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Faculty of Business Administration ... attended Dr. Martin LeBoldus HS before coming to the U of R ... won a 2012 provincial high school championship with LeBoldus ... was 69-for-100 for 1258 yards and 10 touchdowns in six league games for LeBoldus in 2012 ... named the 2012 Football Canada Cup Offensive MVP and a tournament all-star after leading Saskatchewan to a fourth-place finish at the London, Ont. event ... also competed for Team Saskatchewan at the 2011 Football Canada Cup in Lethbridge, Alta. ... participated in the Saskatchewan Roughriders' training camp in 2015 after being appointed by the CFL as part of the Canadian quarterback internship program ... competed for Team West at the 2017 U SPORTS Valero East-West Bowl, completing 15 of 20 pass attempts for 228 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-13 win ... signed by the Toronto Argonauts prior to their 2018 training camp.
