• 2016-17 Canada West All-Rookie Team

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2016-17: Named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team after playing a huge role for the Cougars in his first season of U SPORTS eligibility ... came off the bench for all 20 Canada West games, finishing fourth on the team in scoring (12.2 points per game) and averaging 21.4 minutes played per game ... also averaged 3.7 rebounds per game and led the Cougars with 37 steals ... had over 20 points in a game three times during the conference schedule, including a season-high 23 at UBC Okanagan (Jan. 7) ... had a season-high nine rebounds at Trinity Western (Nov. 26) and at Winnipeg (Feb. 4) ... scored 26 points and averaged 25.5 minutes played per game in the team's two postseason games.

PERSONAL: Played one season at the Combine Academy (Charlotte, N.C.) before coming to the U of R ... prior to his year at prep school, led Auburn Drive High School to three consecutive Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation provincial Division I championships ... represented Nova Scotia three times at the provincial level, including at the 2014 U17 National Championship in Edmonton where he earned first-team all-star honours while leading his team to a bronze medal ... also played for Nova Scotia at the 2012 U15 National Championship and the 2013 Canada Summer Games ... won two major awards in 2014, being named MVP of the Metro High School Athletic Association in March and then earning Basketball Nova Scotia Team Athlete of the Year honours following his standout performance at U17 nationals ... appeared as basketball star Terrence during several Season 4 episodes of the CBC sitcom Mr. D.
