Brad Hennenfent had been a guest coach for the University of Regina's women's volleyball team for several seasons before increasing his commitment to a full-time assistant prior to the 2014-15 season.
Hennenfent has been coaching volleyball for 35 years, beginning at Vanier Collegiate and Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw. In addition to head coaching teams at the high school level, he also coached teams at SIAST. Hennenfent's coaching career includes assistant coaching appearances with the Canada Games team during the 2001 London Games in Ontario and the 2005 Canada Games hosted in Regina.
