Lee Hamilton was named the University of Regina's interim head coach in June of 2022 after serving as an assistant coach with the Cougars since the 2018-19 season.
Hamilton had an illustrious playing career with Vancouver Island University, earning CCAA All-Canadian honours twice and finishing as the runner up for the 2013 CCAA Player of the Year. He not only played professionally for two seasons in England and Sweden following his time at VIU, but was also competed with the national team at Volleyball Canada's full-time training centre in Quebec.
Prior to joining the women's team, Hamilton spent the 2016-17 season as an assistant coach with the U of R's men's team including three weeks as interim head coach. He was also an assistant coach for Team Saskatchewan on the men's side at the 2017 Canada Summer Games, and assumed that same role with the provincial women's team at the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
