UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2010-11: Started all 18 Canada West matches at outside hitter and played in all 63 sets ... tied Kaitlyn Hughes for second on the team with 158 kills ... was also second on the team in service aces (22) and points scored (201) ... was third on the team in hitting percentage (.156) and blocks (41) ... had a career-high 17 kills in the team's four-set win over Manitoba on Nov. 5 ... recorded double-digit kills in seven Canada West matches ... had a season-high 11 digs at Alberta (Jan. 15) ... finished the season ranked fifth on the U of R's all-time rally-point era career list in service aces per set (0.24).

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2009-10: Named an Academic All-Canadian ... played in 50 sets and 18 of the team’s 20 matches ... started eight matches at outside hitter ... had 85 kills, 83 digs, 11 service aces, and 21 total blocks during the conference season ... had a season-high 16 kills against Manitoba on Oct. 24 ... had a career-high 14 digs against Alberta (Nov. 20) ... played in five of the team's seven postseason matches and registered seven kills, four digs, and three total blocks.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Ivan and Phyllis Olynyk ... enrolled in the Faculty of Business Administration ... brother Nick played hockey for the Regina Pats and Tri-City Americans as a junior and also played one season with the University of Windsor Lancers ... full name is Roxanne Raisa Olynyk ... a 2008 graduate of Yorkton Regional High School in Yorkton ... played on the senior volleyball team for three seasons ... named the team’s Rookie of the Year in 2005 and Most Valuable Player in 2006 and 2007 ... was the team’s captain during the 2007 season ... also played basketball and competed in track & field for the Raiders ... played for the Regina Cougar Radz in 2006, 2007, and 2008 ... team won provincial championships in all three seasons ... also played for the Yorkton Blitz in 2003 and 2004 ... helped Team Saskatchewan to a sixth-place finish at the 2009 Canada Summer Games in Prince Edward Island ... also played for four seasons at the provinical level with the U16 and U18 teams.
