Box Score The University of Regina's women's soccer team lost its second consecutive one-goal decision on Sunday afternoon after being defeated 2-1 by the Calgary Dinos.
A late goal by
Tegan Koroluk in the 80th minute pulled the University of Regina's women's soccer team to within one goal of Calgary, but the Cougars weren't able to generate the tying goal. Koroluk had a golden opportunity to knot the game during injury time, but fired a shot just wide of the Dinos net.
Cayla Scavo and Lindsay Burrowes scored Calgary's goals.
Michelle Anderson made eight saves for the Cougars in the loss. Calgary's Kristen Barton made four saves while recording the victory.
The Cougars (0-9-3) will finish off their 2008 season at home next weekend. They'll face Fraser Valley on Saturday and Trinity Western on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled to start at noon at the U of R Field.
