The University of Regina's women's soccer team held a 4-1 lead with just 12 minutes remaining in the second half, but the Calgary Dinos scored four times in the waning moments of the contest to secure a 5-4 comeback win on Saturday afternoon at the West Varsity Pitch.

Rookie Meagan Cormier scored her first two CIS goals in the first half to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead heading into the break. Adrianna Bonutti scored off a rebound to extend the lead to three at 55 minutes, but Calgary's Jasmine Maser struck almost immediately afterwards to make the score 3-1.

Kimbi Wiebe replied for the Cougars to restore the three-goal advantage at 63 minutes, but Calgary's furious rally erased the lead.

Tessa Miller scored at 78 and 83 minutes to make the score 4-3, then Lindsay Burrowes tied the game at four with a goal at 86 minutes. Miller completed the hat trick after scoring off a free kick at the 90 minute mark, giving the Dinos the victory.

The four goals scored by the Cougars were the most in the University of Regina's nine-season history on the pitch.

Regina (0-1) will finish off its road trip with a match at Lethbridge (0-1) on Sunday afternoon.
