Fourth-year midfielder Tegan Koroluk's goal in the 69th minute broke a 1-1 deadlock and powered the University of Regina's women's soccer team to a victory over the Calgary Dinos.

Some good work down the right side and persistence by Koroluk led to a chance inside the box, where she tucked the ball past charging Calgary keeper Kristen Barton for the goal.

Koroluk's goal, her first of the season and third of her career, helped push Regina's record to 2-3-1 for the season. The Cougars have seven points on the season and sit in sole possession of fifth place in the Canada West standings.

Calgary's Caitlin Milne opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a header, but Regina first-year midfielder Megan Florizone's first career goal tied the game up 11 minutes later.

Goalkeeper Michelle Anderson made eight saves for the Cougars, while Barton was credited with seven stops for Calgary.

After four consecutive road matches, the Cougars return home next weekend with matches against Alberta (6-0-0) and Saskatchewan (1-4-1) on Saturday and Sunday. Both matches will kick off at noon at the U of R Field.

NOTES: With eight matches still remaining on the Canada West schedule, the Cougars have set a program record for most points in a single season (7).
