The University of Regina's men's basketball team's 2011-12 season ended on Saturday with 110-70 road loss to the Saskatchewan Huskies in Saskatoon.
Jamelle Barrett and Duncan Jones both led Saskatchewan with 20 points, while Peter Lomuro scored 14, Andrew Henry ended up with 11, and Matthew Forbes and Chris Unsworth both chipped in with 10 points apiece.

Vule Grujic led the Cougars in scoring for the second consecutive game, ending up with 19 points.
Paul Gareau had 12 points and 10 rebounds to notch the game's lone double-double, while
Matt Campbell had 10 points in just 14 minutes off the bench for the U of R.
Saskatchewan finishes the season with a 16-4 record and will host Trinity Western next weekend in the Canada West quarterfinals.
The Cougars end up with a 5-15 Canada West record and will now begin preparations for the 2012-13 season. With no players in their fifth years of eligibility, head coach James Hillis expects to return almost the entire squad next season.
NOTES: Gareau ends the season ranked third on the U of R's all-time list with a .582 career field goal percentage and needs just 46 points to become the 16th player in Cougar history to hit 1000 points in a career ... Nostedt will go into his final season of eligibility ranked seventh on the school's all-time list with 113 career three-pointers.
