The Cougars opened the second quarter with six straights points to get to within three, but Calgary scored 19 of the remaining 22 points to take a 19-point lead into the half.

Both teams scored 19 points in the third quarter, setting the stage for Regina's comeback which came up just short.

NOTES: The Cougars are now 2-2 all-time against Calgary in CIS Championship games ... the U of R has never played Acadia in a postseason contest ... the winner of the Regina/Acadia game will play the winner of the Saskatchewan/McGill in the fifth-place game on Monday afternoon.
