The University of Regina's women's volleyball team lost in straight sets to MacEwan on Saturday night.
The Griffins took the opening set 25-19, then took the next two by similar scores of 25-17 and 25-18 to put away their second win in as many nights.
McKenna Stevenson led the Griffins (2-2) with seven kills while Haley Gilfillan had six of MacEwan's 10 aces in the victory and was also in on eight of the team's 12 blocks.
Britt Davis led the Cougars in kills for the fourth time in as many Canada West matches, finishing with a match-high nine.
Jessica Lerminiaux added eight kills and also had 12 digs, second on the U of R to libero
Sierra Parris-Kruger's 16.
The Cougars will have next weekend off before returning to action on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 at home against Manitoba.
