Kristin Armstrong is in her first season as an assistant coach with the University of Regina's women's volleyball team.
Armstrong played for five seasons with the Cougars in a career that stretched from 2000 to 2005 and still ranks in the school's rally-point era top five in both career kills (653) and career blocks (219). She was a member of the Canadian National B team in 2004 and was named the Cougar Volleyball Player of the Year in 2005.
She started her coaching career in Regina as an assistant coach with Balfour Collegiate in 2007 and has been heavily involved with the Cougar Volleyball Club since, serving as the head coach of the 15U team in 2009, the 16U team in 2010, the 17U team in 2011 and 2012, and most recently the 18U team in 2013. She also has experience coaching at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate and at the provincial level with Team Saskatchewan.
A graduate from the University of Regina's Faculty of Business Administration, Kristin is currently employed at Information Services Corporation in the Strategy and Stakeholder Relations Division.
