Carter Bell shot an opening-round 76 and followed that up with a second-day 75 to finish in second place individually at the University of Lethbridge Invitational over the weekend at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort.
Bell, who finished +9 for the tournament, led the Cougars to a third-place finish in the team standings.
Jackson Wingert tied for sixth (+15),
Jaxon Eberts was 11th (+19), and
Micah Tangjerd placed 14th (+23) as the four scorers for the Cougars.
Morgan McKay, the lone representative of the women's team at the event, finished 10th in the individual standings. McKay shot 96 in the opening round and 103 on the second day of competition.
The Cougars will compete at the Dinos Invitational next weekend before finishing off their season at the Canada West Championships in early October in Abbotsford, B.C.
