One of the most talented players ever to don a University of Regina uniform, Jackie Moore was an integral member of the U of R’s women’s basketball team from 1986 to 1991. She was a Great Plains Athletic Conference all-star during all five seasons as a Cougar and was a three-time All-Canadian. Moore was named the GPAC Player of the Year and the University of Regina’s Outstanding Female Athlete following the 1990-91 season, in which she set school records in points (456), points per game (25.3), rebounds (215), and rebounds per game (11.9) – all of which still stand to this day. She is also the U of R’s career leader in points per game (18.5), rebounds (670), and rebounds per game (9.1). Moore was a member of Canada’s national team from 1989 to 1992.
