In just three seasons with the Cougars, Polischuk was twice named the Canada West and CIS Field Athlete of the Year and was also a two-time recipient of University of Regina Female Athlete of the Year honours. She won eight CIS medals in her career, four of which were gold. She was a 13-time Canada West medalist, including eight conference gold medals alone. Her top event was the triple jump, winning both Canada West and CIS gold in that event in all three seasons at the U of R.

She had her longest triple jump as a Cougar at the 2007 CIS Championships (12.72 m) and set a Canada West championship record in the event (12.54 m) at the 2008 conference meet. Polischuk graduated from the University of Regina in 2009 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree.
