Trena Mott, a four-time Great Plains Athletic Conference all-star, had a five-season career with the Cougars that stretched from 1992 to 1997. Her best season came in 1996-97, when she was named the GPAC Player of the Year and a first-team All-Canadian. That year, she averaged 22.9 points per game, the second-highest single-season total in U of R history, and helped the Cougars to 12 wins during the regular season. Mott, who piled up 1229 points in 72 games, ranks second in the Cougar career charts with an average of 17.1 points per game.
