University of Regina Sports Hall of Fame
Joell Fiddler was the second women's hockey player to be inducted into the University of Regina Sports Hall of Fame, joining former teammate Brandy West-McMaster. Her incredible five-year career with the Cougars saw her earn Canada West first-team all-star awards in all five seasons in addition to two All-Canadian nominations. She remains the University of Regina’s leader among blueliners with 87 career points and also owns the top three single-season scoring efforts by a defenceman in school history, including a record 28 as a fourth-year player in 2002-03. Fiddler won a 2001 Canada West championship with the Cougars and helped the team qualify for three national championship tournaments during her time at the U of R. The teams highest finish came during the 2001 CIAU Championship as the Cougars advanced to the national title game and claimed silver.
